Our Humane Approach to Opossum Removal
Identify location
The first step in our process is to identify the opossum’s den. Opossums are nocturnal animals, so they will usually be found in their den during the day. Once the den is identified, we will set up a live trap in the area. This trap is designed to safely contain the opossum while allowing it to remain unharmed.
Transport
Once the opossum is safely contained in the trap, we will transport it to a safe location. This location is typically a wooded area away from residential areas. We will then release the opossum in its new home.
Release
Once the opossum is released, we will monitor the area to make sure that the opossum does not return. If the opossum does return, we will take steps to humanely remove it from the property again.
